Picked her up yesterday!!! Here she is next to big brother!! I was hoping to find an 01 stang so I'd have matching years as well as paint but figured for the price this 00 was close enough. Coop and I road tripped down to Indianapolis yesterday and drove it back. Everything went off without a hitch. Owner is waiting for his bank to send a released title but he had plenty of documentation to make me feel at ease. That being said I still withheld some of the payment until it shows on my doorstep. I'm feeling good about the deal and if it goes south I just make another trip to Indy. Thanks Coop for playing partner yesterday!!! You were a great help inspecting the new girl!!

The car is a 2000 GT 5 speed with 67K miles. It has some mods, long tube headers, x pipe, magnaflow exhaust. Rear has 3.73's, and 31 spline diff and axles. Trans has a hayes clutch and pro 50 shifter. I ordered a 75mm TB and plenum for it and I'm going to swap over my cobra brakes from the 86. It sounds great and runs well. Final price is $7K!!! On to the pics!!

any plans of mach 1 grill delete?

I'm probably one of the few who likes the stock grill, so no. I'm thinking of a chin spoiler though and maybe an 03+ hood with scoop. I'm torn on the current cowl hood.

Looks great.

Let me know if you want to ditch the hood - I live right by you and want that hood for my car.

Looks good! Maybe get some pics on a nice day with some good lighting. I think the hood looks good, not too over the top, keep it!

x2. I'm also one of the very few that prefers the stock grill over the grill delete. IMO it looks ghetto/trashy with the Mustang logo in the middle with nothing around it.

Nice looking Mustang. Love those stock wheels.

Looks good, I have some nice ET streets that would look good and hook like a raped ape on the street and track with that car!

So when I bought this car the guy was telling us it had had a super charger and nitrous on it and the engine blew up so he replaced it. The car also has a Boosted Performance emblem on the trunk lid. The guy told us it had been featured in a mag but never said which one or which year/month. On the carfax he gave me it says the car was owned and operated for four years in Mooresville, NC. All of this leads me to believe that by pure dumb luck I stumbled on the article that featured my car. It's the Feb 09 issue of 5.0 Mustangs and Super Fords. Here's a link with pics of the original set up!! I think I found the owner on LinkedIn so I'm trying to contact him to get some more history of the car!

Tin, it's a metal roof with a lot of tar slopped in the joint. It's a very old mini barn, I'm just waiting for it to fall down so I can replace it!!
