Here's what was waiting for me the other day when I got home:

Most of the stuff I ordered...still waiting on the custom ground HYD roller cam and throttle return bracket.

Originally ordered CNC'd heads, but they called back and offered the hand ported heads the CNC'ing was based off of...advantage? CNC can't do the pushrod pinch...so more flow. Plus, the combustion chambers were also cc'd/milled/cleaned up.

Exhaust ports. These flow better than the current heads on the trucks intake ports...by a healthy bit!

Modern heart shaped combustion chamber...and 2.08 valves :wow ( a little overkill for the little 360).

Ugh...chevy roller rockers (since the eddy magnum heads use stud mounted rockers, unlike the LA's shaft mounted :( ). 1.65:1 ratio though :thumbsup

Still waiting on the cam...which will be spec'ed on the small side due to the bottom end being stock for now. Once I step up to bigger cubes and more compression...along with parts that can stand the abuse of high rpm's, I'll step up to a bigger cam.

Also going to go with a small header to start...and then perhaps use that as the basis for custom stepped headers to follow.

My dad is asking that I do the headers before I do everything else...his favorite modification for virtually every car we had until 1986 was to put headers on. Funny thing was, he never once did before and after testing! Well, there has probably never been a worse set of manifolds than the ones I have currently, so I'll throw on the headers and get the exhaust done just for Dad's sake...run it at the track and see what happens. THEN I'll do the heads/cam/carb. A little more work, but it'll be worth it for Dad's sake, lol.

I've got a line on used headers that are fairly local...so hopefully I can pick them up this week :thumbsup
