We can also do it at Automotive Engine Rebuilders in Waukesha. We also can hot pressure test heads for cracks. Th e head is brought up to running temp and then filled with anywhere from 30-80 psi to check for leaks.

what kinda prices are we talking? I have a buyer for my spare head, but most of the 2.3 guys want to have the head mag'd before they buy it.Almost all of em are cracked, it just depends on how bad and where the cracks are.

I had mine done at C&S. It took 2 heads to find one that was usable. So don't be surprised when they have cracks. When they found the cracks in the exhaust seat They ended up putting new hardened seats in.
