After 2 interviews one which was 3 hours long with two unique tests I had never done I was selected to be the new Assistant Manager at Sears Auto Center at southridge.

I still have to clear background which I have zero concerns about and once that goes thru Im back to working those wild hours again and a steady paycheck coming in :headbang

A lot of people from BCM helped me out over these last 5 months sending me leads and shooting me ideas and references and I cant possibly type up a fancy sentence to say it properly so hopefully a good ol THANK YOU!!!! Will do it justice.

Yeah dude. This out of work shit is nice being at home but no money just sucks! Money doesnt make me happy but it does make the world go round ya know?

This is a brand new business so a fresh start is really energizing. I took a tiny pay cut to start at the bottom management rung but if I keep my head up and listen I should be able to advance back to the money range I was in if not better.

Congrats, I did 3 years of service writer stuff at tires plus back in the late 90's it was fun and it wasn't hard work. You should have no problem advancing up the ladder.

yeah, because most of the managers over there (at least when I worked there back in 99-2000) were a bunch of ass clowns. Like I said, it is good to see that there is someone who actually knows about cars is going to be working there.

I start on or around May 10th. Lots and lots to learn.

This will be a new dynamic. They have 18 employees ranging from 18 years of age all the way to their 50's and some of them including Jerry the current manager has been with sears 25+ years so that will take a certain tack to go in there learn, gain respect, then lead and teach sales ability while learning from the older ones and hopefully not turn them off and be the young buck no one wants to help.

Im nervous but also excited too.
