i have a few people interested in my rotary engine, but i am having a hard time finding a freight company to ship it. anybody know of any local places to call or have a buisness account with one?

Yellow is ok too, but you're right, finding a place with a business account with them helps a lot. I got quoted like $470 to ship a 350lb motor to Oregon. When I was going to buy a motor from this junkyard, they said shipping would be $80-$100 for motor and trans (500lbs) from NC.

I think you can ship cheap from dealerships, if you know anyone that works at one.

If you crate it up by yourself (throw it on a skid, and box it up) Take it to AirBorn Express. I did that with the rear hatch from the 95 TA that I parted out. They shipped it all the way to Washington I think it was, it was insured and cost me like $150
