Me either.. and a 331in sbf blows my mind!! after I saw the data logger last night and where he actually let out of it Made me wonder how fast it will actually go dialed in!!

Congrats Mark! Correct me if I'm wrong, since I was in my car when you ran the numbers past me. 1.22 60ft, 144mph in the 1/8th, and you didn't even have ice in the tank. Not a bad start to the season.:thumbsup

thx guys just a little R & R from having all 4 tires off the ground, should be ready soon i hope.

it was on a rail until the pulley walked off 7 secs into the run and i lost my blower belt so i lifted. i did not believe it either until i saw my 1/8 and 1000ft time. lets say this was my 7 sec pass to bad. ill see if i can get any pics of the damage from the wheelstand. our crew laughed our asses off after i won the finals lifting at the 1/8th that pass was 5.teens to the 1/8. 8.62 @ 127. i was lucky to not break out for sure but a win is a win. i felt kinda bad for the other team. my car was going on the trailor and they were looking out for me and said dude you need to break the beams. than i thought about it and told them if the car feels good after the hit im racing you so just expect a race at the line. after playing with the MSD box and adding 50 pounds of weight to the front. it went the best 60ft ever fucked up.hehe im weldinge everything in place.

That's insane. As a comparison to get your mind around, my previous supercharged Viper (a pretty serious car by most people's standards) that I used to have ran that exact same speed - 144 MPH but in the QUARTER while running 10.59. Hitting 144 MPH in HALF the distance and time is INSANE.

One header tube was smashed 3/4s shut! Car didn't care, it still went down the track in the finals to the win.
