Best place for an older laptop battery?

I have an older Compaq refurb and it needs a battery. I searched and about a million places come up.

Anybody deal with any good or bad places?

amazon or newegg usually has good prices. I've also used PDAplus i think it was called.

I was looking at the ones on Amazon and Ebay but how do you know which one to buy from? There are hundreds of places, just pick and hope it's a reputable place?

I think anything other then the internet places are going to be crazy $$.

I get a HUGE discount at batteries plus because we do so much ordering through them. That's if u can't wait.. I'm the only one at our place allowed to cash n carry on our account.

My dad uses a place called Pacific Battery. http://www.pacificbattery.com/ They have usually been pretty cheap and the quality has been awesome.
