On 3 Performance Turbo

looks like a Knock off tial wastegate.

i'm assuming it's the same basic "ebay turbo kit" and it's just renamed/braned "On 3 performance"

i'm sure you woud be ok for a little while if you got rid of the masterpower (or payed extra for there percision unit, then get a GOOD wastegate tial or precision and then get a good blow off valve for it) just use all there piping,manifolds,etc. i know alot of supra guys and 240 guy's run ebay turbo kits with hit or miss problems.

You know... that kit doesnt look that bad! Put a decent brand of snail on there and a waste gate that wont havea run-away boost issue and it might work good! That would easily make 450+whp at like 7-8 psi

Lots of guys have have enormous success with that kit just by replacing the turbo.

Ive installed 3 2v kits.. and 2 5.0 kits.. I have to admit.. they are actually nice kits.. I couldnt believe it either.. no they arent the nicest kits ive ever seen, but they are really nice.. and for the money, you cant beat them. It seemed too good to be true for me as well.. Got a friend about to purchase the 05-up kit soon.. ill update my opinion on that later.

Think about it though, do you really have to pay that extra money for a "nice" name? We all have to admit that these $5,000+ kits are just getting insane. Pretend you have the tools and capabilities to build your own piping and such, now price everything you need to complete a single kit similar to say a hellion kit.. Is the piping work worth $3000ish?? And hell, Hellion uses a cheap bypass valve, on3 uses a 50mm blow off valve.

If i had an S197, id have one on order right now! Out of the cammed, screw blowers and a turbo S197's ive tuned, the turbo one hit the hardest and felt the fastest!

Don't forget - I believe you need a different K member to run the on3 kit.

Really? I've only heard bad things about fake eBay master power turbo's, but the real ones I've barely heard bad stuff about.

For piping and the like I wouldn't hesitate to buy on eBay, but with things that could cause damage to your engine, or crack easily like a cheap manifold I would definitely go name brand from someone that stands behind their product.
