UPDATE
Weather right now calls for chance of T-storms on saturday and showers possible sunday. If significant rain occurs on saturday, I'll have to cancel simpy because my yard wouldn't be able to take that many dogs on soft ground...it's still recovering from the winter :goof

I'll post updates as the weather becomes more apparent...thanks

keep in mind Tom (BADLS1) is also having a doggie playdate the following weekend

And since I've got a fenced in yard, I'm more than willing to host again.

Okay, for those that have dogs and want to come, the date will be April 25th at noon, going until around 3. If you'd like to come, by all means simply send me a PM and I'll fwd directions to my place.

We had a great turnout last time, so I want to see more puppies this time. Even if you don't have dogs and simply like them and want to meet up with other BCM members, you're welcome to show :thumbsup

Awesome idea. Playdates work great to tire out the pups. I only wish that tired dog feeling lasted more than a day :goof.

We are more than willing to host one here as well (Slinger). We have about a 50 x 50 ft fenced in area, as well as a nice long open yard for ball fetching for those dogs that are able to be out of the fence.

I just don't trust her around other people or dogs. I'm working on this, but she is thick headed. She's really sweet with us and some of the kid's friends but she barks and growls and snaps at others. She behaves at the vet with other dogs...but still...

She behaves at the vet with other dogs...but still...Well, if it's not too far a drive, maybe you want to try her in the pack? Most times dogs will come in a little skittish and then begin to relax. Generally being in a different back yard takes away the stress of having to "defend" their territory, so I mostly find that even stand-offish dogs do okay at these things.

Not always, but generally...understand my wife and I bring a bunch of different dogs over for dog sitting. Only rarely do we get the dogs that are a little aggressive, but even then, we always make it work.

I wish I would of saw this a bit sooner. I would have brought my puppy. She is trained in German/Czech. SHe fairs weel with dog that are smaller than her (currently 65lbs) but the larger dogs she gets a bit defensive.

? :confused ?

It hasn't happened yet. Bring her out. My male LOVES other shepherds, and is one of the best dogs in terms of socializing OTHER dogs. He has even made Jim's crazy white shepherd open up.
