Vinyl top cleaning...

I recently purchased a car with a white vinyl mock top. It looks and feels like a convertible top than a traditional vinyl root. What's a good way to clean it? It's in really nice shape, you can tell the car was garage kept and or kept out from under trees, but it's still 17 years old. I'd like to clean it up and make it pop a little more. I'm also concerned about not hurting the paint, trim, ect, with what ever I clean the top as it runs down. Thanks!

Really Hot Dawn water with a medium, plastic bristle brush and elbow grease.

I used that Magic Eraser stuff on the white top that the 93 vert had. Worked really well actually
