12 second et finally

Hey all.
I wend to gld last night with a big group of people and finally broke into the 12s.
I ran 12.945 at 112mph with a 2.18 60 foot.
I never figured it would happen last night, it being as hot as it was. I also wasn't able to get any drag radials yet. They seem to be out of stock everywhere I checked locally. I ran the number on my old tires. with no weight reduction.
Anyway, I thought I'd share. I'm totally stoked.

Congrats!!! and with even more to come with better weather and a better hook! i don't think they'd be in stock, but some of the best prices of seen locally for BFG drag radials is ordering through Sam's Club.

It was great to finally get some good slips for a change :thumbsup
I've been to the track so many times and been dissapointed it was great to finally have a great night.
I checked sams club they take 2 weeks to get them.
btw out of 11 passes and three drivers none were slower that 108mph.
The car was running great.
I'm looking foreward to some better tires and lower 12s.

I decided to keep it. The only major change is the t56. I didn't even have a chance to mount my new tires. My next project is a brake upgrade. It was scary pulling the car down from those speeds with small stock brakes.

Wow, you knocked more than a half second by going back to the 1.6 rr's. Thats impressive!! I think its time for a dyno run. Your engine is really strong. Thats the highest hotcam NA trap speed I have seen yet. If you get traction, you may see 11's....Good luck

Yeah Marv I'm real happy to have the 1.6s back on the car. It would be nice if there was a dyno day or something. I would like to get it back on the rollers. Its been 2 years and alot of changes since last time (329whp).
I've got some more changes in mind as well. I still havent put on a larger tb,or my electric wp. Those might be worth a few more hp. Tires are definately in the works though.
