Tree about to fall on cable lines..

We have a tree that during all the rain and wind today is strating to up root itself and fall on cable/phone line.

Last year I asked WE about cutting down some of the trees on that side of our lot and they told us they were not power lines just cable and phone.

Here is the decision I have to make. Do I call Time Warner and tell them the tree is about to fall on there line. Do I wait until it falls and call them?

I am just wondering who will have to pay for it. The tree is about 15ft off of the road.

I went out now and took a few pics but my stupid Photobucket account keeps on having an error trying to load the pics.

It is on our property for sure but there is no way I am cutting it down. It is hanging about 2ft off the lines right now. I bet I could go give it a kick and it will fall over.:rolf

You could tie a rope to it and pull it back up so it doesn't fall or at least tug it sideways so it falls away from the lines?

id call TWC, for all of those with digital phone, no 911 calls can be made if there is an outage.. they may do something about it.

just call TWC, thats about to fall on the hardline which means its about to affect alot more than just a couple people.

We have engineers that run 24/7 so if you tell them its about to fall on their they should send someone out right away, just make sure they dont send just a tech, we cant do much about that since we dont do hardline work.

Called TWC and they said to call the City to see if they will do anything about it. Our public works dept. isn't open right now so oh well I guess.

Yea man that would be pretty ugly to have to fix, I guess thats why those guys make the big bucks. Looks like an easy fix with a some rope and a saw.

if the tree falls twc will be out to fix it asap to get our customers back up and running down the rest of that line if u want to cut it down great otherwise if u wait for it to fall it might take out ur services if u have twc or at&t, we cant cut down the tree unless its directly interferring with our lines i know 2ft is close but its not there yet :thumbsup
