Just saw this on JSonline. Looks like if they get the permits, it could be open by July. Discuss??

Hopefully it's not lame or low speed. After having ridden high speed ones (50+mph) outdoors, i hesitate to even try the chicago ones let alone these. Depends on price though i guess.

I dunno, it says there is gonna be a faster, longer track for older kids and adults. I guess all we can do is wait for better info. I have yet to make it to any of the faster kart tracks, so I guess I have nothing to be disappointed by. :rolf

I hope it is a success, this area needs something like this.

Business openings seem to be delayed, so my guess is it will take longer than expected.

I agree expecially out here, everything and everyone has to have thier own say. Look at how long it took to get hooters up and it almost didnt even happen.

That karting would be great. I have not done that since I went to the Bristol nascar race. It was a blast. Rick

I drove on the outdoor cart track at Bondurant/Firebird in AZ and a bunch of times at both CIR facilities. CIR is worth it. Of course you don't get up to the same speed, but the sensation of speed is there.

The comments to that article pissed me off. People honestly think they'd run all those carts the entire day with out any ventilation??? Bunch of retards. "Crack the door" ... no shit. they'd run a complete ventilation system to keep the fumes from ever being noticeable.

If the new local place is like CIR I will do league racing and have my own suit and helmet.

i want to be there when COOP is there....
1) to see him bend up another cart
2) to see him get kicked off

any bets to which happens first.......................
