about Dr. Gerhard Witte,he killed his wife awhile back in a parking struture downtown with a knife. he was found guilty today, Odd thing is I know him well from work. He,his wife and kids were all customers of mine for at least 10 years or more. Unreal.

Saw him babbling in the court on the news. If he was looking for insanity he played it well even if he didn't convince the jury. Defending yourself in a court on murder charges is insane.

I could not believe it when we heard it at first,alot of my co-workers know him and the family.its just unreal

i work at the jail and he's spent the last 1 3/4 years in suicide watch b/c of how he acted when he was arrested. the guys gonna spend the rest of his life in the sucide watch area of a wisconsin prison.

It's weird when you know someone involved in crazy stuff. I'm related to someone involved with something that's been on the news a lot and it's still hard to believe what happened.

So we get to feed, shelter, and bathe this nut under extra special supervision for the rest of his life?!? Awesome! This is a poster child for the chair, the gas, or the needle here in WI.

well besides the fact that once a person is booked into the jail (no matter what for) it's our responsibility as corrections officers to keep them safe.
