I ended up buying a lower reciever off a member who decieded they didn't want to build an ar-15. So Im going to do a fun build. I'm hoping to have it done within the next week. Friday while at work I spent my lunch ordering parts and maping things out for a lower budge fun build.

When I finish this build i plan on picking up another Plum crazy lower to build a CAR setup or something a little shorter.

parts list

plum crazy lower

BCM BOLT CARRIER GROUP

Badger charging handle with extended latch

DPMS AR-15 A-2 STOCK

"ordered through maparts"
Forged Flattop Upper Receiver - Stainless Steel 1:8 Twist Varmint Barrel

Three Piece Aluminum Free Float Tube - Picatinny Gas Block Front Sight Base

plus a few other oddes and ends.

my end result is going to be something along the line of this. As the week goes on ill update the thread with pictures. This is my first build not made up of a parts kit.

I really wanted to do a "monster" build of sorts. Like I had said I've always used parts kits and this time round after build two of them for family members and one for myself. I wanted to do A lower budge build from scratch. I really have become a huge fan of bravo company over time not only because they are based out of Hartland wisconsin and there parts are freakin awesome but they support the wounded warrior project.

I've gone to there shop to pick parts up saving myself shipping.

im planning on having it built and at the range by next weekend. I should have pictures up on monday when the first pile of parts arrive.

I might be willing to sell my plum crazy sometime in the future if you are looking for what i paid for it. I think I just want one AR with the upper I got and then find an AK.

I forgot how many cool places are around WI. Bravo Company and Midwest Industries. Good to know you can go to pick up stuff at their shop.

I called them on the phone and told them I live right down the road and asked if I could pay cash and pick it up. They where pretty cool about it.
