View Full Version : P0113 ... Iat?

Just got it out of storage and never had this code before. I cleared it last night just to see if it was a fluke after sitting so long (Really, I just wanted to drive it and not have to look at that damn light).

So - now it's back and the code reads P0113 which is intake temperature reading too high. Seems like the IAT is prone to failing and it doesn't help that my bypass valve vents to atmosphere RIGHT next to the backside of the sensor, so I have no doubt that constant bursts of hot air could kill it.

So my 2 questions are ...

A) Do you think thats realistically the culprit.

B) I can't find a part number or price, or even any sort of IAT sensor anywhere online. Am I searching for the wrong thing, or does anyone have a part #?

Thank ya

I heard when an IAT melts it creates a chirping noise :goof

If not locally i'm sure you can get one from LFP for about $20, they sell lightning cone filters with and without the IAT sensor and there's a $20 difference between the two kits.
