I thought I recall someone on here able and willing to check license plates to get the owners name and basic info. Just checking to see if that is still true ;) .

Me either. There are a few people that can do it but its unethical and illegal to release that info.

May be asking about that plate availability checker? I know it gave very basic info about the car.
