3rd annual "Grill n' Chill" Cookout and Car meet

Hey Guys,

I posted awhile back about a meet that I plan every year for the Crown Vic and Mercury Marauder forums I am a member on. I am trying to expand it and make it even better and would like to extend an invitation to anyone here who is able to attend.

I have reserved a large park shelter at Sunset Park in Elkhorn, since we get a pretty large group up from Illinois, it is awesome location. I have the Reservation for Sunday July 18th, 2010

The basic plan is I bring a big grill, get Burgers, Hot dogs, etc and have a big cook out. There will be lots of food. The park has Basketball courts, Baseball Diamond, Two very large parking lots and a public pool (Hopefully its open this year.) So we can do just about anything we want. Bring out the cars, bring the family along too. It should be a great time.

Well, last year I held off until I knew how many people were coming before I put out a final number. I think it worked out to like 7 bucks a car in the form of a donation IF you are able too. I would imagine it would be pretty close to the same thing this year.

Yeah bring it out. Although fair warning. If you keep hearing it referred to as a Cobaltalier SS don't be surprised. :rolf It is a huge inside joke on the Crown Vic forums since we have an old member turn semi-troll and all he talks about is his cobalt and how it is totally better than his Vic.

I might be there. Ihave an HHR which is based on the Cobalt. I owned a Grand Marquis once. And I had a smaller marquis.

Well, This Is it. We are locked and loaded. I bought tons of food. Tons of drinks. The swimming pool is open. I believe its a 1.00 to go swim so bring trunks if you would like. I will be to the park around 9 am. If anyone has questions give me a call 414-397-4682

No worries Kelley, It's all good, Not sure if it happened before or after you left, but one of the Marauder owners let someone take his car for a ride and they did a burnout on a side street a few blocks from the park. Elkhorn PD was waiting for them at the park to have a little discussion. Kinda squashes the fun a bit, but still all in all was a great time.

Just want to say thanks for Both Kelley and LordAirGtar for coming out and joining us, it was an awesome time. The plan is to do this again next year and I want to go all out. I hope more BCM members can attend with us next year.
