need help finding a part for a newer truck

I'm looking for a driver side mirror for a 2006 F150. seems anyplace i call doesn't have one and doesn't know anyone that would. I've checked car-part.com and the closest one is 280miles away.

anyone know any places in the area that might have one? Milwauke/waukesha/kenosha/madison/beloit ?

or is there any other sites that you can browse junk yards?

i cant believe there are that many new f150's out there but non in a junkyard yet.

or if anyone has a hookup on a new one from a dealer let me know.

not looking to get any reproduction stuff as it usually doesn't fit great nor does it look good.

A guy at work has an 04' F-150 and he replaced his factory mirrors with extendable mirrors for towing. If they will fit your truck, I can ask him what he did with the factory mirrors he took off of his truck. Let me know if you are interested.

My buddy got new mirrors from certi fit for his 01 Super Duty, and they actually fit really well. Might want to look into it, not sure they will have them, but might be worth a look.

x2 certifit is good with mirrors, its the sheetmetal and bumper covers that are questionable

You can also try Keystone. They're mirrors also have great fit and they're local.

discountautomirrors.com most of there mirrors are kool view which is a real good aftermarket company. i got 06 style mirrors for my diesel $212 shipped and got in 3 days, there more then that for one at dealer and you can tell they arent factory ones.
