For a 86 Iroc Z with the 305 Teal No rust... pretty good condition and four flat tires? my friends storage co. obtained it so i could get it pretty cheep. what the most i should pay, ive not seen it or started it up he was just telling me about it. think it would be a fun project car:)

Isn't the 305 a boat anchor?

I would say $1000 if it runs.

i had a 91 z28 and with just headers and and a small stall and 323 gears which are what are in the iroc i could hang damn well with LT1's no match for the LS1 but i had lots of fun with it and that was just with headers and stall
im assumin its also got the TPI strapped to the top of the motor

sounds like a great candidate for a 350 swap...

i think the best thing with the smallest amount of headaches is a 400 small block, tons of torque like a big block, but it's smaller and it fits without any modifications i think. a big block will mount up, but u gotta relocate a bunch of stuff...but yeah i agree a big block would kick @$$.

I would say about $1000 would be good, definatly not more than $1500. And even if it has TPI its the old version of TPI if its an 86, which isnt all that bad but not as good as a newer one would be. As far as the Big block there are quite a few guys on ThirdGen.org that have done it, doesn't seem to be to bad.
