Buddy of mine had a puke yellow clone like that, 3 on the tree except the lever was broken off and stuck in 2nd gear. He drove the car like that all winter, we would bar hop in Mpls driving all over roasting the clutch and revvin the hell out of the 6 banger in 2nd :)

It looks really clean in the pics. I think it would make a great project. Just find a donor car/motor drivetrain and you're set.

The possibilites are endless.

I'm almost positive I've worked on that car. It was six or seven years ago. I had to lube up a frozen lock cyl in the drivers door for the little old lady that owned it. Few years ago it was for sale around 105th-ish and beloit. If it wasn't that car it was its twin.

Andy showed me the car while we were in CO...I was going to call once we got back, but it appears that the car is gone :(

And I agree with Jason...I would have considered a FI turbo slant six for the thing :wow

What's funny, is that when I set out to do the valiant, THAT was the exact look I was going for...right down to the color!
