I'm looking for my dad's original 1969 T5 Bronze Superbee. My dad bought the car new at Peters Dodge in Milwaukee WI. The car was raced at Union Grove Dragaway from day 1 till my dad sold it in 1981 to a guy named Kenny. Kenny raced the car till about 1986 or 1987 at Union Grove as well and he sold it because he had a acid dipped 72 cuda he was running. I heard from someone that the car was in the St. Francis WI area untill 1992 and then it went to some place in IL. I will pay a $500 reward if you get me intouch with the owner of the car and I'm able to purchase it. Its a 383 4 speed post coupe, black buckets, and my dad had it custom painted. Here are some pics

This is at the world of wheels Milwaukee 77 or 78 when my dad owned it

I put it on moparts again I did this about 2 years ago but no luck, at that time I was not able to scan pics, but now I posted them so we will see what happens.

The problem is when my grandma passed away in 1990 my dad threw out the window sticker and all other vin stuff. My dad was looking for the car in the late 80's and Kenny wouldn't tell my dad who he sold it to. So my dad gave up, me not so much I want this car!!! I have been looking since 1994 for it:thumbsup

Kenny wouldn't tell my dad who he sold it to.

Why not? Kinda seems like a dick move on Kennys part? Just my 2cents.

I hope you find it, it would be pretty sweet to have it back in the family, good luck.

My dad seems to think Kenny wants the car back so putting no competition against him when that owner wants to sell. I would pay stupid money for this car and Kenny knows it!

Or maybe it's Kenny Klazura (sp?), the locally famous transmission expert...??

I used to be a cop, so I tried that route plus I called madison with no luck.

Can I ask who Kenny is?

I forgot Kennys last name he ran a Black 63 max wedge car and his son had a 65 coronet that he ran for awhile. Last I heard he sold all of his stuff, he used to be friends with my uncle, and my uncle tried getting info for me but has failed as well.

Its not Kenny Klazura (spelling?) that does the twin turbo 400's back to back to make the 5 speed auto, I wish it was though I shoot the shit with him for hours, he tells me where all the cool stuff is!

Try chitownracing.com as well too, Rick. If you're putting up a bounty, those boys will find that car, LOL.

I'm trying that right now, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed, my dad had insurance from 69-73 on that car, after that it was taken off due to being a drag car. When my dad sold this car in 1981 it had just turned 19,000 miles.

Don't have the Vin anymore pretty much all of the paperwork was distroyed after my grandma passed away in 1990. I wish I had the vin, I called DMV with the old plate numbers, they don't go back that far, called the insurance company and same thing, had someone run the assets my dad had and only goes back to 2000. I know someone knows where it is, I figure it might be a different color now.

There was a lot of stuff done to this car, that even if you put this car back to stock you would still see the marks and holes made. My dad pretty much disasembled and reasembled this car on a yearly basis, plus my dad special ordered it and picked it up in feb of 69 and he clicked off a couple of rare options that 95% of the superbees out there don't have. big thing is buckets with no consile or buddy seat, no vinyl top, am/fm, frame rails were put in by cutting the floor and using steel bars and welded in so there would be humps in the floor board and other misc stuff. My dad pretty much spent way to much time under it he could be blind and know what he is looking at, thats why he sold it, he was sick of looking at it. Me on the other hand want it back!!

Good luck with the search, it reminds me of my dads car. he has a '68, and it will be mine someday, i will never sell it.
