For some reason i felt compelled to show my fellow peers my new sc10 short course R/C truck. Right now nothing is in it yet. i have a speed control and i'll be putting a radio in it shortly. just need to get a STOCK motor for it and it'll be good to go. I would like to go brushless but its a little out of the price range at the moment with out a job. i painted the body and was kinda going with a theme off of my GF's helmet but i failed and getting decent lines with my free hande razor job i did. but the black and teal kinda looks cool only if it would have turned out a little better. Theres always the next body i guess.

Not really yet seems to be a toss up between the Blitz and SC10. Theres a good mix of both at Trackside the SC10 has more out there for parts but the Blitz ESE is coming out. Ive heard good about both so we will see how I feel when I stop in to get one lol

It would be like the HPI kit version of Associateds Factory team kit. The Blitz only comes a RTR right now and the Blitz ESE is a kit with lighter/stronger parts

If you guys are interested this spring, I've got a friend out near GLD that races a SC10's or whatever class/size those trucks are. He's got a pretty decent track setup on his farm.

Word on the street is Ofna's Hyper 10SC is spankin ass? Anywho I'm a nitro guy so I'll probably drop some coin on this guy come spring:

The little guy should be able to lay the spankin down on you 10th scales. :goof

the Summit's are rediculous! --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sd-MJkfay6I

How many cells is your lipo? and im sure you know, (said you "just bought") but i feel compelled to explain anyway....

(LIPO) make sure you dont : get it wet, arc the terminals, over charge or over discharge, or generally do anything but treat it like gold, or it will start on fire. and if it DOES start on fire.. DO NOT NOT NOT add water!

Also what motor's in that thing? i also have a lipo powered beast =)

put one of my crappy radios in it today just to see what it would do with a 27t btrushed motor and i can say i'm acually happy with it. in the snow with a un covered reciever it didn't like to much but it was fun just drifting the truck everywhere and it looks so realistic while sliding everywhere. i think i'll like running this at trackside

i'de be interested in racing around out there cheaper than going to track side and as much as ide like to tgo to track side i haven't found a job yet. i've been tooling around with it here and there and i'm trying to get the gearing right for the 27t might need to go down just a bit yet. it jumps smooth tho i made a snow jump and was hittign it hard. i flipped it a few times and its already missing paint now off the body :thumbsup
