MWAS and BCM: GLD Memorial Day

I'm trying to get people to go on Memorial Day to GLD. I think this would be fun to sit and watch the races or run your car if you want or whatever. Its fun runs all day I guess from 10-5.

I'm not gonna run but is there interest to maybe all head down there as a huge group? We could meet at the McDonalds on Ryan Road at say 9:45ish, grab a breakfast burrito and skadaddle to GLD.

I might've been down to go, but my car has really got me out of the mood to see cars that actually run!!! But who knows... With a lot of luck, mine will leave Max 93's driveway one of these months... :bsflag

Did anyone go? How was it? I woke up early 3 times and they said they are opening but it was raining here in town off and on throughout the whole day. I was wondering how it turned out in Union Grove.

On the bright side it's looking like 55% chances I will go on Wednesday instead. Maybe we'll see some Championship DRAG Racing!!!! :rockwoot:

i heard rain down there all day, anyways not worth the 30 bucks on a rainy day.......too bad, i really wanted to go today :( ....oh well maybe this weekend
