My PCs date & time.....

Every once in a while my date & time will be off and then 'magically' correct itself. However, in the past 3 days it has occurred multiple times and now it reads 12:35am. What can I do to correct this and not have it happen again...???

My guess is that your CMOS battery is dying and not holding time when your computer is shut off. Then Windows connects to a time server and sync's the clock. Almost every desktop motherboard for the last 15+ years uses a CR2032 battery and they are easy to replace. Make sure you know if your BIOS settings are different than the defaults as they will be reset when you replace the battery.
