I have ‘rigged’ a few things in my life and while they are noticeably 'out of place' they function perfectly. That design is piss poor and I would not be surprised if inadequate screws were used also. You should have left a note telling the owner to save up money for a windshield.....:durr

probably carbonRX's car.. the shop wanted $75 to replace the latch.. he didn't want to pay that much.
