So seeing a lot of people are buying guns and some are buying multiple. :thumbsup I have to ask what is your firearm wish list.

Mine is as follows:

Sig Sauer P220 in .22LR w/ .45acp Conversion kit
HK P2000 LEO Compact .40
Smith and Wesson Revolver. (Haven't Given much thought though) Or That Taurus .410 with the shotgun like ammunition.

Some day I would maybe like to own a shotgun and AR-15 sytle Rifle.

Well, I've been asking a bunch of questions lately. I'm purchasing two more possibly. More than likely just one more.

Everyone keeps telling me just get a regular AR and put some cool optics on it and have fun. I just don't want to be "everyone else" when I'm not gonna shoot it often anyways. I have to look at resale value and availability

So my decision is down to 3-4

1.MSAR STG556 in tan/black (would prefer optic, but just rails are available right now)

Found a place doing $1050 including 5 30rd mags for it.

http://sgcusa.com/images/large/MSAR_STG-556_Tan_Rail_Main_A.jpg

2.Sig 556 Classic - Seems average is $1299 and then they have a $300 rebate.

http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/cid-1-0d2aa28c0d2a9fa8006ec0548525.jpg

3.FN FS2000 - yeah it's a "space gun" looking thing, but I love it. About $1900 and they have a $250 rebate that makes it attractive.

http://www.impactguns.com/store/media/fn/FNH_CB_FS2000_Right.jpg

4.FN SCAR-16s - I want this bad. I'd have to wait till summer to start working full time to pay for the optic since it'd take up a good portion of the tax return.

It's expensive and that's why I probably will end up getting none of them, haha. Just sit there debating for the next year, haha.

5. Kimber Covert - I want SOOO bad. They had a 4" and 5" at Cabellas and I just drooled. I wouldn't even let the lady take it out of the case cause I knew I'd buy it.(holy crap!!! $1335 at Bud's Gun Shop. Didn't realize so expensive, figured it was just a Cabellas thing for high price)

Scott,

Cabellas has a used P220 in .22LR as well as a brand new one. Cheaper than Sig's MSRP on their site, but still more than the internet sites.

Never all at one time but I have been blessed with some fine collectable firepower, some very limited production and some downright illegal.

My short list, immediate future:

http://i880.photobucket.com/albums/ac6/kent23jr/Savage2.jpg
Have shot but never owned a 6.5x284, Savage will release a lighter (cheaper) model 110 this year, about the flattest traveling bullet using over the counter ammo , genuine 1000yrd gun with very little holdover.

http://demigodllc.com/photo/6.5Creedmoor/inline_size/600/D462_3238_img.jpg
Tubb 6.5 Creedmore, gonna dream, dream big! More realistic would be a DPMS in Creedmore:
http://www.tactical-life.com/online/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/dpms1.gif

I sold a PRS custom in 308 to the guy who used to rent the house I am in....for $400. I've wanted to buy it back for much more in the past but he aparently knew what he was buying, just like this but maple stock and was based off a Texas State patrol counter sniper S&W 1500, one of 1000 made by Weatherby for Smith and cutomized at PRS for police use:

Since I am broke I would settle for some lazer grips for my old mans Charter arms 38 :)

There is about 12 different models of the judge, and new ones coming soon.

Which one did they have? 2.5" barrel, 2.5" cylinder, blued? The cheap one.

Admittedly I have strange taste in guns. but the rest of my list consists of:

S&W 500 revolver
Colt M4-22
AK-47
Russian SKS
Walther P22
S&W 629 revolver 44Mag
I'd like to find a 50 Beowulf upper for my AR.

I'm sure I'll find more as I go!!

I don't get the Judge thing, If I want a shotgun I'd get a shotgun, if I want a Revolver I'll get on in a handgun cartridge. But to each his own

My Lottery list has these on it :

Stg44- Full auto of course because if I can pay the $15k to buy it, another 200 is nothing:goof
http://www.patriotfiles.com/forum/imgcache/1561.png

MP40
again full auto for the same reasons:rolf

H&K PSG1

http://www.acupat.us/gbpictures/eBayAuctions/psg1/images/DSC05461_137473_large.jpg

I would like to get an AR but can't decide between a M4gery or something longer.
I see Steyr is importing the AUG again, but it's about twice what the US version Crawlin posted is.

In the end unless I do win the lottery it'll be awhile before I make anymore BIG gun purchases, I hardly get out to shoot the ones I have:rolf

Revolvers: The finger prints on the cartridges come home with you, not left on ground to trace.
Shotshell: Untracable projectile, no way of ID-ing the shot like a slug.

Only thing those guns are lacking is a threaded barrel for supressor :)

Scott, thanks....

Badger had a 556 classic for $1299 WITHOUT the rebate. Cabellas was $1399 without it.

I'm right there with Jamie. I think that's why I don't want an AR, cause there is SO much you can do with it. And I'm loving that PSG1

M1895 Nagant pistols are neat when supressed. The cylinder moves to form a gas seal together with the shape of the round, and people put cans on them sometimes. The round is funky though. Funny, that someone would want to spend 2x the money on the stamp as the revolver is worth...

Oh, I feel just terrible that that the gun library in my head doesn't include obsolete Russian revolvers from over a century ago. The point was that the VAST MAJORITY of revolvers don't have cylinders that move forward to create a seal against the forcing cone, nor do they use special ammunition that has a gas seal. Therefore, a supressor isn't very effective on 99.9% of the world's revolvers. But hey, thanks for the info. I'll keep it mind the next time I see a Colt Python wearing a can in some flick I'm watching. "Gee, if only that were a Nagant, then this scene wouldn't be so ridiculous..."
