2004 VOLVO S80 window learning procedure??

we replaced a bad drivers door glass on an 04 s80. now when the window is put up, it goes all the way to the top and then comes back down. i would assume that there is some learning that needs to be done. i can't find anything on the net. anyone know?? the fords you just go all the way to the top and hold the button, and then all the way to the bottom and hold the button. doesn't work on the volva though LOL!

IIRC it has to be done with VIDA, their scan tool, there is no manual relearn procedure for them. The joys of swedish cars!

im confirming now, hold on!

Just talked to volvo service, try putting the window up, hold for 15 seconds, then turn the key off. if that does not work, then they have to go into the drivers door module with the scan tool and reset it.

try that and see, nothing to lose at this point.
