qa1 and pro-kit?

I bought the front QA1 stuts off of speedinc and a eibach pro-kit. I was under the impression that these would go together but the mount on the strut for the bottom of the spring does not match the size of the spring.

my main question....how can I make this work?

1. did i buy the wrong strut for the spring and need to buy a different one?
2. Is there some sort of perch I can buy to make the spring fit the strut mount?
3. is this just not going to work and im just an idiot?

My guess is the QA1 struts come bare like most of the other ones out there. You will have to reuse some of the stuff from your existing struts like the spring perch and some of the bushings... I have never seen the QA1's but if I remember right that is what I did with my AGX's.

Did you get the gen F fronts or the the "R" stocker fronts??

what John said is right. you have to modify the spring perch somehow. Thunder Racing sells the already modified pieces that you would need if you didn't want to start tearing stuff apart too much.

BMR offers spring cups that will allow you to run those springs upfront.

will the spring cup sit on the bottom of the strut? and it is it skinnier? because right now the spring is just slightly smaller then the bottom perch and doesnt fit on their by any means....i had a post earlier about this and never got the answer too...damn
