one of many overpriced cars on CL... it's worth $5000 tops

just saw a 05 civic ex se in chicago with 27k in excellent condition for $8900 then saw one here at wilde honda, 05 civic ex with 61k miles for $12000.... all i could think of is "really??"

$2400 in payments does not mean a 10k loan will be $7600. With interest, it is probably $8xxx.

You missed the joke that Ryan and I were having about the difference between balance and payoff :)

I was a finance manager for a car dealership for a couple years, I know how it works :)

You got it Al - not everyone gets that. They look at online banking and think their loan balance is their payoff amount. I see it at work every day.

I think chris and I could pwn some financial newbs had we worked some indirect deals together.
