I predict one more big snowfall after this one. The ones after that will taper off or have rain included.

35 mph is the cutoff usually but if he feels unsafe he wont do the lift.

The NWS confirmed the prediction, this time in black and white: We are realy not sure of anything, its a crapshoot on our part and we extrapulate the tech as best we can. The basis on our guess's are for comercial value and nothing more, better to scare people and keep em on there toes than let a scant snow trail pass bye as predicted.

Im all ready now, not gonna sleep and stand gaurd till then.

Also if anyone needs some snow moved I charge pretty reasonably. I don't work for free but won't rape you either. Even if its just moving snow banks back.

probly because ppl are freaking... its actually intensifying from the models i saw yesterday. i would have said 5-10in but this morning im saying 9-16in milwaukee metro... i dont know what the news says but the pressures the model for tomorrow shows it is going to bring pretty gusty winds too! you can teach yourself any thing online and with the use of the national weather service models ;) :)

The plow guy we have for the bar charges us $50 every time it snows more then 3 inches for our small parking lot. What we paid over the last two winters was crazy when you add it up. This year has been ok though.

My friend who owns AJ Bombers, Sullivans, Swig and Water Bufflo paid just over $7K just last year for snow removal for his 4 places.

He didnt do a great job either. He had a little jeep he would use to drive over the side walk with on Water street. When I would come in at about 8 PM I would still break out the shovel to clean up what he didn't do. The only parking lot he did was the one next to Sullivans. Water Bufflo and AJ Bomers are big corner places though.

There's a spot in the driveway with a 3ft drift, and a couple feet over I can see bare gravel.

Plows had only mad a couple basic passes last night, but drifting around where I had snow blowed b/f made for drifts several feet high.

I just built up some speed and rammed the little insight through...it was pretty cool, snow actually went over the car. If it had been like yours, I'd probably wound up trying to dig the car out for a couple hours...as well as looking for a cheap means to replace my airbags, lol.
