speedwaymotors sells a grinding wheel so you can shave them yourself.

what is the point of "shaving" your tires?

x2, and what do you mean 'shave' them? i gather remove tread depth? and i would assume that takes 'flex' out?

actually, i was gonna get back to you garrett, but i didn't have a confirmed answer at the time...

HUGE NEWS!
Big Bear Tire has ordered and will be taking delivery shortly of a BRAND NEW Tire shaver..
so that means that yes, we can shave your tires! just have to wait for the dang thing to show up first.. lol
should be delivered by the first of april at the latest, but probably mid-month here..
pricing has not been set yet, but yours truly will be doing the shaving personally, so any gripes, you know who to meet out at the bike racks after class.. lol
