So I usaully use the free online version, but this year I have a cracked version of Turbo Tax Home+Biz 2009.
Has anyone here used a cracked version and efiled? Im wondering if there are some potential risks, or should I just print my stuff and send it in? I know a few on here are more computer savvy, looking for some ideas.

I just do my taxes on line. Totally secure, and I have never had any problems

I do find it ironic that some one would illegally use a program to do their taxes. Something about it is just kind of funny to me, haha.

Just use Tax Act it's like less than $20 Why risk getting in trouble over less than $20? http://www.taxact.com/products/online-state.asp

Yeah I use tax slayer(www.taxslayer.com). Its very similar to TurboTax and it's only $9.95:thumbsup

I dont think Id want to risk using a cracked version ... who knows where your info could be going if you efile. Personally. I just don't think it's worth the risk.

Turbotax doesn't require a key code of any kind so there's really no crack. There's also no way for them to know if you bought your copy or not. So, yes you can e-file with no worries.

I dislike the idea of paying someone to help me get my own money back from the 'gummint.

Main reason I'm looking to use this instead of the regular free is that my taxes are a little more complicated, not sure that the free version will be enough to help me out.
