Who here is into/has a nitro r/c car, truck?

Just curious, just picked up a HPI Savage .21 used but in VERY good condition last night.

If so, What do you have?

I have an hpi rs4. Rc cars are money pits, to scale as a regular car.

I have the same model and same feeling. Mine is currently sitting in the closet with the starter cord pulled out of it. Just too lazy and unmotivated to take it apart again and put a rotary start on it. I leave the body posts long so I can put some of my f150 bodys on it to play with too

All of that being said I would like to get a traxxas revo 3.3s Those things are badass!!!

I also have this finicky damned tmaxx. My older brother built it and I just couldnt get it running right consistently with all of that drive train modded it just fought itself all the time.

a good tip is to get yourself a small tackle box with little compartments in it. Maybe something with drawers too. THat way you can stock up on suspension parts for it so when you crash you can fix it on the spot without having to pack it up and go home for the day. Good thing to have for sure

Nitro rustler with a 3.3, older t maxx with a 3.3, hpi rs4 with a .18, and a team associated tc3 with a .15. We should all find a nice free place to bash and get together!

Mines not Nitro... BUT i think mines at least as fast as everyones here :goof

Traxxas rustler VXL with a bunch of upgrades, and a 3 cell 5k mah lipo.

Geared for around 65mph, battery lasts 1 hour or more in wooded areas, or climbing, and about 35-40 minutes if im doing consistant top speed runs. takes about 45-60min to charge.

its a blast, and cheap to repair. i hit some railroad ties at pretty much top speed, and it broke into 3 peices. total repair cost was $22. this is before it was partial aluminum... now it woulda been way more or way less, depending on what bent. lol

its incredibly fast, and can do wheelies on command, even if im going 50mph i cant floor it cause it'll wheelie :stare
