I have at least 25 tires to dispose of and would like to get rid of them all at once. In the past I would go to the City of Milwaukee disposal site on 38th & Lincoln Ave. but my 'connection' at the front gate is no longer there and only 5 tires are allowed per visit per day. Most of them are crammed in my van right now and are ready to go somewhere.....

Find a dealership, or multiple dealerships and throw them in the back where they throw there junk tires.

I looked some time ago for a dealership and everyone I visited had some sort of holding pen or container. I'm sure a law exists stating junk tires must be held in an enclosed area.....

edit: take a friend or 2 with you and they can be out in less than a min or 2..and off you go.

If they have tread, sell them as used tires.

Nothing worth selling.....

That would be nice but more work than it's worth, not to mention you need a drivers license with a Milwaukee address to get in. Years ago I would drop of 20-30 tires at a time and never show an address but not anymore.....:(

Go to the docks and ask the dock master if they need them for bumpers on tugs and docks.

Or you could post them in the "free" section of CL. I would advise against dumping them somewhere, it gets quite expensive if you get caught.

I posted an ad on CL three times with not one response. I know all about the fines, which is why I'll most likely end up visiting the city disposal site 6 days in a row.....

You're going to pay no matter what, just do it the right way if you aren't going to dealership hop. No place takes tires for free.

drive through open field, open back door, go over bumps at speed, close back door, drive home.
