Ughh that sucks.
tents and high winds don't get along too well.:chair:

I'm surprised Barrett-Jackson is still a go.

Watching BJ on tv this week, it looks miserable. Cold and rainy. People scrambling to get the cars clean before bringing them in.

Money is still flowing though.

some pretty big dollar cars were sold at BJ this week so the big spenders are at least willing to drop some coin this year.

My buddy has 10 cars at Russo and he isn't allowed in yet, there is some big $$$ under those tents so we will see how it plays out. One of the cars he brought there was Nicholas Cage's 70 hemi cuda, so Jim is going to have his work cut out for him.

For people that bring in those types of cars. You would think they would have storage for them that would prevent pretty much any weather from hurting them. That just my opinion.

you would think, that auction is making some nice coin!!

Jim just came back from Russo, no access today and owners can come in at 8:00 AM to claim thier cars. THe auction is officially cancelled.

With this auction you sign over the title so I wonder how this will get solved between owner and auction. If I was a betting man (which I'm not) I would have to say this auction probably wont happen again with all of the lawsuits that will come from this.

most likely. A lot of the big players in the muscle car trading game were on hand this year with their "collections" so some had 8-12 cars there ready for the auction! :wow This going to put the hurt on the classic car insurance companies too. Might see 1 or two go bankrupt over this also

there is alot of damage, but i didnt see any completely flattened cars. It looks fixible, probaby the hardest thing to do will be finding new glass.

fixable?? Try and find parts for some the cars that took damage. Not to mention, some of the cars damaged are unrestored cars. Which is what makes them extremely valuable.
