Yeah, or one of those tire changers, you know a bunch of shops will be there though so stuff will probably go for good money.

the tools would be worth the trip out there alone. Though I had to chuckle when I saw a photo of a Craftsman toolbox. Seriously Buell? LOL A guy I work with just bought a like new Snap-on box from a liquidation sale in Stoughton for $400!

R&D bikes will not be auctioned off.

I have a pic of a bunch of buells in a huge 30yard dumpster ready for the crusher. That's what they HAVE to do. They can't hold liability for any of the R&D stuff. Luckily Erik Buell Racing should have some cool upgrade stuff.

It's not an auction...it's a liquidation sale.

i was more thinking the rc8 or the 1098 and the like...but they probably went to harley instead of being sold....

The sale starts tomorrow. I spoke with a guy from the company conducting the liquidation. He said it was like a big garage sale. Most everything has a price on it. The prices are not firm, they will accept reasonable offers. He said their hours during the week are 10:00am to 7:00pm. Also open on Saturday, but didn't catch the hours. WI sales tax applies, but he didn't mention any additional fees, but I would still ask before buying anything. If you have any questions you can reach the sellers at 616-719-5917.

I stopped in after work on Thursday. Even though I thought the prices were a bit high ($8 each for craftsman wrenches) all of the tool boxes and welders were already sold. They still had a lot of stuff, but I guess the good stuff went in a hurry.

I was there too. $2700 for the tig and $1700 for the wire welder was a little steep for me. Saw the tool box with tools was going for $1200. Seemed like everything was negotiable.

I went there on thursday with flicktitty @ 2 o'clock and all the tool boxes and welders had been sold already... but everything else there was way over priced. I think it's a waste of time to go this weekend there was hardly anything left as it was on thursday afternoon... that is unless your need a file cabinet there was a ton of them that were not on hold already.

I felt like it was a waste of time being there at 10am. (which I was)

I ended up going there yesterday. There was nothing special there anymore other than a few CNC machines. I picked up a few heavy duty casters for about %20 of their retail price, so I was happy.

I went today just was gonna look. No toolboxes. I did get three Armstrong ratcheting box wrenches, 12, 13, 10 mm sizes and a pair of Ultimate Speaker stands (which I needed but didn't think that would be there) There was a couple of JBL speakers but I passed on those as they were a bit more than I wanted to pay. There were some wireless mic set from Shure, and a mixing board as well but I didn't want to take a chance on them being bad. DJ equipment at a bike factory? Who'da thunk it. The stands I got for $25 each and the hand tools I paid $10 for all three...yes you could dicker on the prices. Armstrong tools are like Snap-ons...very good and made in Chicago.
