I'm curious, how easy is it to fill up a 16gb Iphone? Can you download movies and games and shit like that and fill it up easily, and would I be better getting the 32gb? Is the 32gb worth an extra $100?

I have a 16 gig and have 11 gigs left of free space. The question is more about what you do every day and how much free time you have.

Music wise, I only keep the best of the shitty music I listen to on it and new albums I haven't heard yet. I know at the end of the day I can put new music on it for tommorrow and take the old stuff off. How frickin amazing is that? I didn't even need an app for that :D.

I don't have any movies on my iPhone since I own a tv and a computer. Yeah, I'm THAT awesome :durr. Most of the time when I have time to watch a movie, my movie watching occurs while I'm at home.

Apps don't take up much space.

Can you fill up a 16 gig or a 32 gig easily? I'm sure if you are like most you could no problem. But why would you need to?

The question you need to ask yourself is do you really need to take your entire iTunes library with you every time you leave the house or can you manage with maybe 1 movie on it and a couple thousand songs? If you can't live without any of your music or have time to watch 3 or 4 movies on it, I'd get a 32 gig and hope for the best. :goof

Apps are like 1mb each, so that is not an issue. It all depends on how much media you want and how often you are willing to change it. iPod format dvd length movies are around 850mb each. If you fly a lot or have enough downtime to watch a movie then get the 32gb.

I would get the droid over the iPhone... it takes micro sd cards. You can put whatever memory size you want in or even have a few that you swap (one movies, one music, ect).

Ahh the Droid. That is what I really want but I think it will be cheaper monthly to go on a family plan with my fiance and daughter through AT&T.

Thanks guys.

I have an 8gb, have most of my music on it, all of my pictures and plenty of apps with room to spare. 16 should be plenty.

I was more concerned with movies and stuff like that, I never use my phone as an mp3 player, though maybe I would if I can get FM radio in decent on the phone. I work alot of long, boring night shifts, so movies may be handy.

^^^ Internet radio. Pandora and slacker radio both free and awesome. Otherwise, you could go oldschool and stream local radio stations on your phone.

The reason I got a 32gb was not only the extra space, but also the resale value. When I sell the 32gb Iphone it will get more $ than a 16gb. Will that be $100 more, probably not, but it should fetch more when I do sell it and decide to get the next generation Iphone. I have 6.5gb left on mine.

I fill mine up with movies for the kids on trips. But even 3 movies is only about 4gb of space, max.

I'm perfectly fine with the 8gb....2 movies and tons of songs, apps, and photos. I still have a gig or two free
