I did not watch the show but heard it on the radio, I only caught " pants on the ground "
I then looked it up ( 2 mins ago ) and found there was more to the song, this vet is making a statement to the public
I hope we hear more of this guy :thumbsup
Even though there was no way he was going through to Hollywood (After all, the age limit is 28), we think Larry Platt, who is a US veteran, deserves an honorable mention as one of Atlanta's best auditions. Here are the lyrics to his original rap song, "Pants on the Ground." (Listen up all of you guys out there with the pants sagging. You know who you are.)
"Pants on the Ground," by Larry Platt
Pants on the ground, pants on the ground
Looking like a fool with your pants on the ground
With the gold in your mouth, hat turned sideways, pants hit the ground
Call yourself a cool cat, looking like a fool
Walking downtown with the your pants on the ground - Yeah!
Hey, get your pants off the ground...
"I don't think this will be the last we hear about you, Larry," Simon said. While we doubt there's a recording contract in Larry's future, maybe they could bring him back for the finale.
