COD-MW2 = Virus on your computer

it just happened to me. i was playing MW2, and the game went into the "HOST CHANGE" thing,
when the host leaves the game.
It was taking Longer than Usual, and then i tried to STOP it,
by hitting ESC, Nothing worked,
so i had to HOLD my power button in to get out.:mad:

WELL,
when i restarted i had a Virus. ( symptom = Very slow Browser and any First time New window/apps) would be extreemly slow.
It even Disabled my McAfee anti-virus. and my Hard Drive would be Running constantly.

SO, i deleted the Partition Immeadiately.

I am 100% sure it happened VIA the COD-MW2 game. :flipoff2:

I LOVE to play that game,

i doubt it was DUE to CODMW2. it sounds like someone loaded a virus onto the "host" that you were playing on. i bet that everyone that was playing on the host got a virus too

i 2nd rev. coopers statment on getting an xbox...so you gotta pay to play. but its only like $50-$60 for AWHOLE year...not to mention then you can download other content (new maps, cars(in racing games) etc)

I have both as well. My PS3 is aweful dusty. I only use it to play the occasional blue ray.

I would say easily 99% of my friends and my sons friends all play on live. I only know one kid down the block with a PS3 and he now wishes he had an xbox.
