Any one else having problems with FF? Mine keeps crashing and pages only half load. Like right now here on BCM I have no pics, most the icons are missing, no Stop, Refresh, Back, Forward up top on the browser.

Anybody?

I clicked on "submit new thread" and everything came back to normal. WTF?

clear all private data. If that does not fix it turn off your PC and never return.

Sounds like a case of PEBKAC.

does it kick you off firefox with the "firefox has encountered a problem" message? If so, are you able to resume, or does it fail to re-load your session?

Sometimes. It's totally hit or miss as to if it works, or how well it works.

I was having an issue like this for a while on my laptop. I had run 3 different virus and spyware programs with no results. And I noticed no other symptoms except dwindling battery life.

I am convinced it was a virus! Firefox would lock randomely when opening new tabs (not always on the same site or number of tabs). I reformatted and went to windows 7. Although I don't think its neccesary to switch to win7, a reformat may not be the worst idea.

Like I said, no other symptoms, but AFTER the reformat my connection has been faster, VERY reliable and battery life has improved. Id start by doing some virus scans, testing I.E. to see if its only browser related; and if nothin else, backup and do a quick reformat.

Maybe you missed one of their every 15 minute updates? Never seen a piece of software that has as many updates as Firefox. It seems like daily.

I am running the first version of firefox yet. Before they added all the junk. No problems here.
