For the newer 05-09 Mustang GTs where is the AUX MP3 plug-port located on the center console? Was the AUX standard option or did it only come with the shaker system? Does anyone have a picture? Me and my buddy are trying to locate it on his 2006 GT.

By AUX port, are you referring to the extra power supply outlet? If so, look inside the center console on the front wall. If that's not what you are asking about, could you clarify what you are looking for?

Do you mean the AUX jack to plug a mp3 player in to? Just trying to clarify incase someone does know the answer to your question. :)

mine in my fusion is in the center console think most are found in there if it really has one

It is located on the forward section of the console, below the coin holder and to the right of the aux power outlet (cigarette lighter).

Really? I've never found mine. (And it's in storage now so I can't re-check.) Seems to me, a long while ago, I heard something about having to open the dash up to find it. It's in the console on my wife's CX-7. Let me see if I can find that thread I'm thinking of.

I thought I remembered something about this. I have an 06 too. It seems the console jack was first added in 07. There are work-arounds though.

I am pretty sure my 05 had it in the same spot also. It is inside of the console.

Wasn't in the car until 2007 models built in August of 2006. Even with the Shaker 500 it wasn't there.

There are some great Bluetooth options now. An iPhone adapter was demo at SEMA.

True. My 05 doesn't have one, and I have the Skipper 500.
