Shooting Trip....

Since Coop and Scott were giving me some shit in my thread, I thought I'd toss this up here. I wouldn't mind traveling a bit if there was someplace in between.

I will admit I'm taking the girlfriend to Chicago for a weekend trip the 16th/17th to a nice place(supposedly Obama's favorite place, yippee:rolleyes:) so I might not be back into town till late morning/noonish on the 17th.

If people don't want to do it this weekend, and would prefer the following, that's fine too.

Hell if we wanted to do a saturday trip up with Coop to see Brian if someone's got stuff being purchased, we could do that too like he had mentioned in the post.

If you got ideas, post them up. And if anyone's really good at pistol shooting, I'm ALL EARS to any advice, haha.

i'm fine with one now that is indoors and one later that is outdoors in the summer. I'm just shooting pistol caliber stuff so I get no hassles.

How far do you want to travel?? The city of Shiocton has an awesome outdoor range. All they ask for is a $3 donation for upkeep. It's open from dawn to dusk and you can shoot anything you want as long as you clean up. There's a 75 yard pistol/shotgun range. 200 yard rifle range and 300 /500 yard rifle range with a small 25 yard area for pistols. My brother has been wanting to come up with his AK, Nagant, and Enfield. I have an AR, 2 SKS's, a 12 ga, and a number of hanguns from .22 up to .50 I could bring out. A soon an Uncle Sam gives me back my money I'll be placing an order for a Barrett 99 and want to hit the 500 yard range with it. Anyway, a range day sounds great me!!!

Just post up more information. I am interested in going but because of my Dog I wont be able to travel up North just to shoot.

All though it would be nice to meet Coop and Brian, I think If I met Brian I would want to get my HK that I been looking at.
