Two extremely well-behaved Hermit Crabs need a home. Well, to be completely correct, they carry their homes around on their back. And their homes are encased in their own 10 gallon glass galaxy. They just need a new universe to settle their galaxy in.

They were once a science experiment related to determining what kinds of shells Hermit Crabs find most appealing. Natural ones. Larger Ones. Painted Ones. Packer Ones. Bears Ones. Vikings Ones....

They eat virtually anything and virtually nothing. Throw a grape in there or a lettuce leaf and they're happy for days. A little water in a dish and all is right in their world.

My son wants a puppy. We already have 2 cats, 2 fish aquariums, and the Hermit Crabs. Enough is enough. My deal with him was that if we find a home for the crabs, we could then get a puppy.

Please don't break his heart.

Comes with crabs, dishes, 10 gallon glass galaxy, landscaping, and assorted shells (Had to ditch the Vikings and Bears once the crabs rejected them.)

Let me know if you need a picture. I'll get one. They're so fast it's hard to catch them on film, but I'll do my best.

I might take you up on that, but Wind Lake is a haul from Hartford.

If someone else wants them, go for it, otherwise we can work out a time to hook up.

If I didn't have 2 running aquariums already I'd take them. I've just got no more fish tank room.

Yeah, you just don't want to admit to anyone "you have crabs".

These people know these are "land" hermits correct? You don't have to maintain it like a fish tank. I had one that an ex bought me as a joke and they are very entertaining. Hope someone takes good care of them and your boy gets a puppy, win win for both families.

Yup. Everyone seems to have known that. They are VERY low maintenance. I'm also proud to report they've found a new home. A mom in Kenosha took them as a surprise for her 7 year old who has been begging for some.

And I made good on my promise.

Meet Gracie.

The lady we got her from says white german shepard. The best I would go with is shepard/yellow lab.
