tis that time of year again. got a quick question and my tax guy is at some seminar for the day so i figured that there may be someone around here that can answer it. question is:

can you claim/deduct property taxes paid on more than one house? i have a vacation house up north and obviously have a house down here. i noticed last night while going through my last years taxes that it appears that my guy only claimed my house down here!?! can you only do a primary residence or are there tax advantages of only doing one of them?

Pretty sure you can claim it. There are some special provisions if you rent it out, like you have to use it for personal use for X number of days but, yea I am pretty sure it is something you can claim:
