It wouldn't change much. 74% of shooting victims in milwaukee last year had a felony on their record. 85% of the shooters already had a charge on them. CCW won't fix this, but it will make sure I'm not one of the 26%!

well shit, fuck those 74%. so I guess you are right, that wouldn't change much if only 26% were able to carry.

I think that CCW will only bring down the crime rate of robbery and Muggings. Thugs will probably think twice about those acts of violence if there is a possibility that the person is going to be armed. How ever I dont think Murders will decline all that much heck there may even be more if someone shoots at someone with out thinking what is beyond the target.

Well, with the poor economy, not everyone can afford the drugs that bring most of these problems on. On top of that, with guns and ammo being so expensive as well, I'm not surprised. Oh, and shit tons of lost jobs over the past year didn't help either. Obama, you did great after all! You may have fucked up our economy, but hey, ya lowered our death rate in Milwaukee!:thumbsup

this statistic will unfortunately get Barrett(sp?) into a higher office and we'll be screwed on a state level just like Doyle did

Violent crime is a better measure, as well as property crime... as long as they don't change how it's reported.

Fewer deaths could just be a result of people doing a better job keeping the so-called victims alive.
