awesome event last night. Looked well planned out except for the landing. No way he was getting that thing stopped considering how far he overshot the landing ramp. Pretty cool though! Did you guys notice the sandpaper texture they applied to the landing ramp? I thought that was a neat idea for additional bite

yup. along with non skid strips put down like used on a aircraft carrier or ship deck. Was def well though out

It was cool but still kind've unexciting. He's short of Johnny Greaves record in the trophy truck, and not as insane as Robbie Madison's motorcycle jump last year.. That was effin nuts!

that car lands so softly with the rally suspension on it he could jump it 400 feet on a calm day and more start-up and shut down. Like Chris said, its just physics really. The car has plenty of power to make the jump and they can add weight to the rear of the car to keep it from nose-diving mid-air. Then it just becomes a matter of cajones and operator execution of the plan (IE doing what he is supposed to do).
