Took it to an 1/8th mile track for the race and somehow the GTR comes out on top.. How? I am boggled, even without the 100 shot couldn't the C6Z walk it?

First off is just a plane jane C6 auto... Pretty much sums up why it lost, those are mid-low 12s at best with traction... But that stock vette was pretty much right there with it.

That's not a Z/06, that's a standard Vette powered by an LS3. And a hastily thrown together 100 dry shot? Big deal. Plus, I doubt the GTR was 100% stock. It's way to easy to throw a mid pipe and tune on one of those things and no one else would be the wiser. GTR responds to BPM like nothing I've ever seen. Full exhaust plus tune = mid to high 10s @ around 130mph. Nucking Futs.

Ok, I'm seeing it it a little clearer then if it wasn't a Z06. But why would Hertz call it a ZHZ then? Z come from maybe being a Z51 I'm guessing? Because he said like 436hp with another 100 at the wheels and the C6s are 405 at the crank I thought.

Doubtful. If you watch the vid, the Vette actually leaves first and holds that advantage for a bit. The GTR drove around him. I'm not a fanboy, but I have a friend that owns one. It's a fast car. Period. Faster than a stupid run-of-the-mill LS3 Vette with a slushbox and a poorly scienced out N2O system. What's so hard to except about that? Geez, you Chevy guys need to take off the rose colored glasses. Face it, man, in this case, shit's weak... ;)
