so i got a ps3...now what?

been holding on to my ps2 til now...lol...have a few questions...

is a hd t.v a must for the system..or will it look good on both?

does the blu-ray player upconvert regular dvd's?

what are the must have games for this thing? thanks

Uncharted 2 is first game you must buy.

Yes get an HD TV or its an epic fail. The whole point of a next gen box is the HD, not to mention the whole point of Blue Rays...

Borderlands is bad ass. I have it for PC but it should be good on the PS3 also.

Upconvert is built in, yes.

Fallout 3 is awesome if you're into Action/gun games with a bit of RPG elements.

Killzone 2 is good. Call of Duty 4 and 6 are good. Make sure you keep the system in an area where it can cool, gets very hot inside of an entertainment center. Do not buy an external fan for it, they are junk, just let it do its own thing in an open environment.

Must- Check out the PS store. You can buy/rent movies/games there as well as a ton of other things. Watch HD trailers for movies/games, buy game add-ons, etc. Bonus- PS Network is FREE.

Another cool thing I just learned how to do last week, was network the PS3 with my computer to play music and video that I have on my pc.

Had I known I could do that I wouldn't have bothered buying a dock for my Ipod for my home theater.

And +1 on Uncharted 2. Best PS3 game handsdown. The first one isn't bad either.

The last few years I've gotten my HDMI cables from menards. Usually they're up in the lighting area somewhere. $7 for a 6 footer. Cheapest i've seen around by far.
