This is solid conservative business practice. I want my dollar to go farther than yours. If you want to, you can go and buy 20 king-sized bars for this guy. Then again, the guy is free to refuse sale.

you are right, if this were a liberal practice, you would take the mans bumper hitch, assure him you will send him snickers bars in the mail.... and instead send him a bill because you only think its fair that he pays for all of your buddies have a matching bumper hitch as well.....
